New Tata Indica V3 was unveiled in Auto Expo 2008 in Tata’s stall in Auto Expo 2008. Tata Motors unveiled the new Indica V3 on the first day to compete with Getz, Swift, Aveo-UVA and Palio the new Indica will come into the market by the middle of 2008 told by Tata Motors. It will come with new design and better performance then current model. It has a proportionate and sporty stance with the front end getting extra stretched headlamps. It looks like same old one but it is improved much better then older model in terms of design and performance. They still not show information on interiors as it’s under development and would be complete in few weeks.

The new Indica is longer and wider than the V2. The new Indica would be powered by a 1.3 liter quadra jet common rail diesel engine and a 1.2 liter VVT petrol engine which would be manufactured at the Fiat-Tata plant at Ranjangaon in Maharashtra. The new Indica would have larger 14 inch wheels with 175/65 spec tubeless tyres and finally the tyres fill up the wheelarch unlike the current Indica.

The new Indica is likely to be priced between Rs.4 – 5 lakh and would be launched by the middle of 2008. I would hope a good car since Tata talking great performance. I wasn’t happy with V2 so looking forward for new model. So wait for few days and we would get a brand new car Tata Indica V3.
